I wish I could be easygoing and happy most of the time but I'm not. I get moody and don't even understand why and just want to be left alone.I also wish people could understand that I don't do this intentionally and I can't just 'snap out of it'. I pray that God uses this strange temperament of mine for good.Eniola Folarinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01050398129574717063noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7912031968930335741.post-22743573862354168292015-02-08T10:16:46.518-06:002015-02-08T10:16:46.518-06:00Maggie, I just discovered you and your blogs today...Maggie, I just discovered you and your blogs today. I do not fit in the category of most of your followers, as I am 52, married when I was in my mid-forties and do not have children. But, what I do relate to is your honest seeking of God, the struggles of trusting in a God we cannot see, etc. Thank you for your honesty as reading your blogs this morning have helped lift my spirits. Like one of your followers said in response to this post, Satan likes to play on our emotions. I know that he is sowing doubt in me and that confession and prayers for deliverance will shoo him away. God bless you. P.S. My name is Margie and sometimes I am called Maggie. I saw that as a divine connection.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7912031968930335741.post-45354620885608954832015-01-13T23:47:02.392-06:002015-01-13T23:47:02.392-06:00This is one of the reason why I love my baby, I ca...This is one of the reason why I love my baby, I can't control her sleep positionsBarbarahttp://www.easyrest.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7912031968930335741.post-60313446688664835782014-12-26T17:38:41.591-06:002014-12-26T17:38:41.591-06:00I am shocked to hear that they trapped your arms d...I am shocked to hear that they trapped your arms down. So I went through the exhaustion of pregnancy while chasing a 19 month old, as well as the guilt I feel when I am chasing after and fussing at my toddler while the baby bouncer rocks my newborn to sleep. I had much more patience with one. I am blessed to have two healthy boys now. We just had a rough evening so reading this post gave me hope. After searching the internet to see if I had in fact broken my child and turned him into a little terror, I realize that the behavior that he exhibits is actually normal. Tomorrow is a new day and I have a plan for my little one. I hate even calling it a miscarriage because that was my baby. I went to mass for the first time this Sunday and was able to talk to a relative about my experience. This cousin always just know what to do and say. We cried together and prayed together and then she made the comment that she had the thought during mass that it was similar to Mary losing her child Jesus. For some reason that brought a calm upon me and I have been praying to Mary and Jesus for strength.RockYourSkinnyJeanshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01377419960952147341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7912031968930335741.post-20737120359505543692014-02-19T02:28:50.339-06:002014-02-19T02:28:50.339-06:00All the information are really nice this is very v...All the information are really nice this is very valuable information for all. She is two weeks shy of turning two. JUST started taking sips from a cup. I had four kids who reached milestones almost at the same time in their life scale. Not Miss C. The one thing I have learned is that she cannot be compared to the norm but instead, work within her needs. And that means we are STILL trying to get her to eat solids. Very frustrating. Robert always tells me I am a mean mommy and that I am not his best friend. I tell him it's not my job to be your friend; it's my job to be your mother. But I hold him to such a high standard because I know he is smart. But I lose it with him about once every other day. He really has a horrible mouth (he tells me I am not the boss of him - and yeah he is 3). I don't mind being stern....I just don't want to be cruel. Okay, my first thought is I hear you on the not eating thing. For the first time, we have a non eater. If she was the oldest or even second oldest, I'd be crying and pulling my hair out. She will not eat and if she does it will usually only be pureed food. She is almost two. It is a texture issue. We supplemented around the age of one…then transitioned to almond milk (MORE calories and she is allergic to dairy). We started her on Pediasure drinks around 18 months. One a day still. When she FINALLY ate baby food, we were thrilled. She still eats it. We worked with our pediatrician who suggested different ways to get food into her. Feeding tube = last resort. We are taking it one day at a time. For almost 18 months now. It's so frustrating. I believe she will outgrow this between ages 2 & 3. Hoping it will at least. At any rate, get a second opinion for something that serious. We have a friend whose child is on a feeding tube only because he has some life long chronic disease. Another friend had a little boy who was diagnosed with "failure to thrive" between ages 1 & 2.. No growth. At all. They did not use a feeding tube. He is ever so slowly gaining now at the age of 5. I know it is frustrating. We are in the midst of it right now. Just talk to your pediatrician, but remember, it is always great to get that second opinion no matter what. Hang in there!
